Edward and Friends was a children's TV series in clay animation from FilmFair that aired on British and Canadian television in 1987. The series was 5-minute stop-motion shorts based on the LEGO's "Fabuland" line of toys that lasted 10 years from 1979 to 1989. Edward was the main character in the show and the episodes were centered around him and his two friends Bonnie and Max. The series was set in the fictional town of Fabuland. It was Lego's first foray into animation and television in general. Bernard Cribbins provided the voice-over for the show. Written by Michael Cole with music by Mike Batt. Agent Z And The Penguin From Mars was a 1996 Children's BBC sitcom, based on the book of the same name by Mark Haddon. The six episode series followed the exploits of Ben Simpson, played by Duncan Barton, and his friends Barney, played by Andrew McKay, and Jenks, played by Reggie Yates, who together formed the "Crane Grove Gang", named after the street where they lived. This was a society dedicated to playing ingenious practical jokes in an initiative called "Agent Z".

Chigley is the third and final stop-motion children's television series in Gordon Murray's Trumptonshire sequence. Production details are identical to Camberwick Green. As in Camberwick Green and Trumpton, the action centres around a small community, in this case the fictitious village or hamlet of Chigley, near Camberwick Green in Trumptonshire. Chigley is more of an industrial area, and according to Gordon Murray, the three communities are at the corners of an equilateral triangle. A digitally restored version of the series from the rediscovered original film masters emerged in 2012.

On 5 March 2012, the show moved to the Seven Network with Aleisha Groth replacing Dixon for the revived series. On 12 February 2013 at 10:15am The show moved to the ABC3 The show has also been broadcast on Cartoon Network In contrast to other Australian children's game shows such as Sharky's Friends, A*mazing, and Go Go Stop, which are filmed on a large set in front of a live studio audience, Lab Rats Challenge uses several smaller sets resembling an abandoned science laboratory as well as special effects sequences inserted in post-production. It is filmed in Brisbane's Channel 9 studio on Mount Coot-tha, Queensland.
