Elly & Jools is an Australian children's television series that originally aired on the Nine Network in 1990. It starred Rebecca Smart as Elinor 'Elly' Lockett and Clayton Williamson as Julian 'Jools' Trevaller. It also featuredred Abigail, Anne Tenney, Peter Fisher, Dennis Miller, Damon Herriman and Vanessa Collier. The dog which appeared in the series also played the dingo in the Meryl Streep and Sam Neill film, A Cry in the Dark.
Space Vets was a 39-episode children's sci fi show about a motley crew of misfit intergalactic space vets. The concept was devised by Stephen Edmondson and Jerome Vincent, but the characters were created by writer Christopher Middleton, and most of the 39 episodes written by him, too. Music for the series was produced by former Doctor Who composer Dominic Glynn.
Dex is a 9-year-old artist, explorer, and "paleontologist in training". Like Dan, Trek, and his big sister Dana, Dex uses his Dino Field Guide to magically see and study dinosaurs in the real world. Thanks to his artistic eye, Dex envisions them a bit differently, getting right into the action to reconsider how prehistoric creatures like the T. rex, Velociraptor, and Megalodon looked and lived.
Mr. Anthony is a sympathetic preschool teacher. His students often come to him with their problems, most dealing with difficult emotional issues they are facing and at their age do not quite understand. Mr. Anthony helps them overcome their emotions using his alter-ego, Napkin Man, a cartoon character he draws on a napkin and who comes to life as Mr. Anthony tells how Napkin Man has dealt with the issue before in helping another young person in destress
