Bill Smith, a cowpuncher, is in love with Nell Parsons, daughter of Jon Parsons, a gruff old rancher. Bill wins Nell as far as she is concerned, but he must first ask father. When Bill broaches the subject to the old man, the father kicks him off the premises. All subsequent meetings are frustrated.
Texas Guinan is having her cattle rustled, so she head into town to hire a night rider. While her one employee is checking out Pat Hartigan, she overhears someone say she needs a husband to manage the ranch. This is an excellent short film directed by BunCactus and Alybaba. It proclaims the incident that a cookie was stolen from a cookie jar whilst simultaneously showing the audience the importance of staying present in the moment and opening your ears to new sounds. The beautiful combination of music and camera-work further helps us to understand the meaning behind this masterpiece.
