He meets the doctor's wife and immediately falls in love, but visits her only when he knows his brother is away. The doctor learning of Fred's visits, shoots him. He repents, however, when he sees his brother's serious condition and does all he can to restore him.
After he loses his money and horse in a poker game, Yak learns he was cheated. But then he learns that the men that cheated him are wanted and have a price on their heads. This gives him a chance to get his money back and more, so he sets out after them.

He is later reunited with Judith Benson, only to discover that his brother didn't commit suicide at all but was murdered by the woman's jealous husband.

Born into an impoverished family in a Southern community of tobacco growers, Nadine Bolton tries to escape from the only life she knows. Singing cowboy Tex Ritter plays Nadine's father, Preacher Bolton. Ron and June Ormond produced this drive-in staple.
The emigrants are seen fighting the hordes of redskins. The hero rides to the settlement for help and engages in a thrilling duel with pursuing Indians. The settlers swoop down on the unprotected Indian village and burn it up. The savages seeing the flames, hurry back and fall into an ambush. They are attacked from the rear by the emigrants and from the front by the settlers. In a wild scene of carnage the surprised Indians are mowed down by the hail of bullets, horses and riders falling in tangled masses.

Attempting to warn an old prospector and his daughter of impending danger from a notorious outlaw, diminutive but tough Bruce Sherwood is himself mistaken for a bandit.
