The Indian sends smoke signals from a phone booth and his tribe attacks Daffy, trapping him under his house trailer.
A cowboy advertises for a wife. A shop girl in Chicago responds, and he travels there to see her. Once he gets there, however, she changes her mind. Ashamed to return home empty-handled, the cowboy uses a mannequin in a woman's dress to fool his friends into thinking he has a wife.

At a fiesta, he meets Menocal, an old friend, who is murdered moments later by Bud Latham, an American bandit under the protection of the local sheriff, a rascal named Berengo. Jack sets out after Latham and finds the killer trailing another outlaw, José Remado. Jack catches up with Latham and whips him in a brutal fight.
Lt. Milt Mulford graduates from West Point and is assigned to a cavalry outpost in the West, near an Apache reservation. One day the Apaches, tired of being cheated by a crooked Indian agent, break the reservation and Mulford is sent after them with a patrol. Unfortunately, he cracks under the pressure of his first firefight, and is thrown out of the army. His fiancé, disgusted, ends their engagement. He sets out to prove that he is not a coward and regain his fiancé's love.
