April 1941, days before the beginning of the Second World War in Slovenia. A small unit of the Royal Yugoslav Army is sent to the northern border to defend against an attack by Nazi Germany. However, their mission soon turns into a struggle for survival, and their ultimate goal is no longer the defence of their homeland, but merely their own lives.
