It is an adaptation of the South Korean drama My Husband Got a Family (2012), created by KBS. Adapted by Héctor Forero and Pablo Ferrer García-Travesí, and directed by Jorge Fons Pérez, Héctor Márquez, and Luis Manzo, the telenovela stars Eva Cedeño, Mane de la Parra, Diana Bracho, César Évora, Julián Gil, Wendy de los Cobos, Emilio Osorio, and Gonzalo Peña. The story follows the Rueda family, led by Luz Torres, a devoted mother who struggles to keep her family united despite the personal conflicts of her children.
