São Paulo, 1945. A tenement in the Bixiga neighborhood centralizes the plots and characters. She quite often yells at and teases them for revenge. These ‘Marios’ of course will not let her beat them and fight back when the time is right. The three of them quarrel with each other leading to lots of hilarious jokes...
Actor Héctor Bonilla was considered for a stellar role in the series but he turned the offer down since he was working on the successful stage play 'La Escalera' (also starring Damián Alcázar) at Teatro Monterrey in Mexico City. Then director Luis Vélez, good friend with Bonilla, offered him a small supporting role for the series final weeks and Bonilla eventually accepted.
