10% QTV is a Canadian television newsmagazine series, which aired on Rogers Television stations in Ontario from 1995 to 2001. It was the first multiseason television series in Canada targeted specifically to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, being preceded only by the short-run documentary series Coming Out in 1972. The series first aired in 1995 as Cable 10%, and adopted the 10% QTV name in 1997. The series was produced in Toronto by a volunteer committee. It aired documentary and feature reports on LGBT life and news in Canada and internationally, including an annual episode airing highlights from the Toronto Pride Parade. The series aired on all Rogers community channels in Southern and Eastern Ontario. Following the end of the series, the Canadian Lesbian and Gay Archives took over the program's website, incorporating it into the CLGA's own website.
BBC South East Today is the BBC South East regional television news programme, serving Kent and East Sussex. Prior to its launch on 3 September 2001, most of the viewers in the region received Newsroom South East, though some had been receiving South Today. South East Today is produced and broadcast live from the BBC's South East broadcasting studios in Royal Tunbridge Wells with district reporters based at newsrooms in Brighton, Chatham, Dover and Hastings.
Te Karere is a New Zealand news and current affairs programme broadcast in the Māori language. Te Karere is broadcast on Television New Zealand's TV ONE at 4 pm on weekdays and repeated 1:05 am and 5:35 am the following day. It is available in Windows Media format from 5:00 pm after the broadcast. The show introduced subtitles via teletext on televisions during its 4 pm broadcast, excluding interviews. The focus of the programme is content which is of national significance to the targeted Māori audience.
ITV News Cymru Wales is a Welsh national television news service, produced by ITV Cymru Wales.
Morning Edition is an Irish television programme broadcast on RTÉ One and RTÉ News Now. It is produced by RTÉ News and Current Affairs. The programme airs every Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 11:00 and provides a live morning mix of news, sport, business, topical discussion and entertainment. It is presented by Keelin Shanley with Anthony Murnane as relief presenter. The show was a success upon its launch. The first show started at 09:00 on January 28, 2013 and the first season ran until May 2013. The show returns for a second season on September 2, 2013. Its biggest competitor is TV3's Ireland AM.
TV Patrol Cagayan Valley is a local newscast in Region 2 produced by ABS-CBN Regional Network Group TV-2 Isabela and aired simulcast by TV-3 Tuguegarao City. It uses Tagalog as a medium. The TV Patrol Cagayan Valley news teams cover a wide area encompassing the provinces of Isabela, Cagayan, Batanes, Quirino and Nueva Vizcaya Anchored by Darlene Gemino, TV Patrol Cagayan Valley airs live from the ABS-CBN Newscenter in Santiago City Mondays to Fridays at 5:00 p.m.
Daybreak Scotland was the regional news strand for the two ITV regions in northern and central Scotland, provided for the ITV breakfast station ITV Breakfast. The bulletins were produced for Daybreak by Macmillan Media, and were broadcast from studios in Glasgow. Before 3 December 2007, the regional news opt outs during GMTV were provided by the ITV franchise holders in central and northern Scotland, STV Central and STV North respectively. However in 2007, the contract for providing the regional news was awarded to Macmillan Media. Macmillian Media also produced Daybreak Northern Ireland news for broadcast in Northern Ireland. Meanwhile, the regional news for the ITV regions in England and Wales and the Channel Islands are produced by the corresponding ITV plc regions. Viewers in southern Scotland receive pan-regional news from the ITV Tyne Tees & Border region. GMTV Scotland was rebranded as Daybreak Scotland in September 2010, when GMTV was replaced by new breakfast programme, Daybreak. Regional bulletins aired three times each weekday, and included a look at the days main headlines, a travel news update, and a weather forecast. Separate bulletins were produced for the STV Central and STV North franchise areas.
365gay News was the umbrella title of gay-themed news programming airing on the Logo television network. The programming was produced in partnership with CBS as a result of the former ownership of both networks by Viacom. It debuted in June 2005, when the channel began broadcasting. Initially, news items were presented as short segments between scheduled programs. Occasionally the channel would air full half-hour specials on stories of interest to the LGBT community, such as the Gay Games, yearly gay pride events, the October 2006 ruling in the same-sex marriage case in New Jersey, Lewis v. Harris, and the issues facing gay voters in the 2006 mid-term elections. In late 2007 CBS News on Logo went from broadcasting segments between scheduled programming to a weekly half-hour format. New programs were broadcast each Monday and repeated through the week. Jason Bellini was the lead anchor for CBS News on Logo until 2008. Other correspondents included Itay Hod and Chagmion Antoine. The Executive Producer until 2008 was Court Passant. The CBS News Up to the Minute set was utilized for the broadcast of the program. Beginning in January 2007, a news update podcast became available for download through the iTunes Store.
Mastodon Minutes was the weekly news program for Indiana University - Purdue University Fort Wayne and taped at the College Access Television Studios, Walter E. Helmke Library in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
Volt is a French language news magazine television series for teenagers. It airs on TFO, the French language public broadcaster in Ontario, as well as on Radio-Canada's video on demand website TOU.TV. The show debuted in 1994. The television series ended in December 2010, after 16 years on air.
Annenberg TV News, or ATVN, is a student-produced 30-minute nightly news program serving the University of Southern California student body and Downtown Los Angeles. ATVN airs live at 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the school year on Trojan Vision 8 on campus and online on Trojan Vision's website. The student reporters also produce exclusive web content year-round on www.ATVN.org.
