Ace Lightning is a children's television series co-produced by the BBC and Alliance Atlantis, which has been broadcast in the United States as well as in the United Kingdom and Australia. The show was filmed in Canada, but the program was set in America. It ran for two seasons, and spawned several books, including a yearbook for the year 2003, an activity book and a companion to the series. A computer game based upon the show was released in 2002. Most of the programme was live-action, although the heroes and villains from the video game were created using CGI. The primary focus of the series is the power of friendship, as well as the battle between good and evil. The series is significant in that until its creation, live action and CGI had not been attempted to such a huge and constant degree within a weekly television serial.

The starting point for each programme is something with which children are already familiar, such as water, wood, paper, boots, spiders, buses, soap, street lamps. The two main characters are Auntie Mabel, and her dog Pippin. They go on adventures in Auntie Mabel's aeroplane, travelling far and wide across the UK to find out more. Kissyfur is a 1980s animated children's television series which aired on NBC. It was produced by Jean Chalopin & Andy Heyward and created by Phil Mendez for DIC. The series was based on a half-hour NBC prime-time special called Kissyfur: Bear Roots and was followed by three more specials until its Saturday morning debut. The show ran for two seasons. The show follows the adventures of Gus and Kissyfur, a father and son bear duo who had joined the circus. One day on a circus trip, the train they are riding in derails and the bears escape to a new life in the swamps of Paddlecab County. There, they protect the local swamp's inhabitants from the local bumbling alligators Floyd and Jolene. Kissyfur and his father use the skills they have acquired from the human world to create a boat tour business transporting other animals and their products down the river.

It premiered in 1991 and was about a teenager 'Manu' and situations in his own life, with the rest of his family and his friend Robert. It used to air in the UK on the now defunct Children's Channel. It was produced by the French animation studio "Jingle", and the French and defunct network La Cinq.

Erky Perky was an Australian and Canadian animated television program on YTV developed by CCI Entertainment. and Ambience Entertainment. The show was about two bickering, dimwitted insects, Erky and Perky, who live at a hot dog stand, but are accidentally taken to a house. The show focuses on Erky and Perky trying to settle into the house, living with fellow housebugs, and the hunt for food in a very clean kitchen. It was broadcast once on YTV's Big BBQ Blowout on July 1, 2006, as a "sneak peek". Another Erky Perky "sneak peek" episode was shown on August 30, 2006 during YTV's "Sneek Peek Week", before airing regularly on September 7. The show premiered on Toon Disney in the United States on September 4, 2006.

Haru Shinkai is led to acquire the Appli Drive, and uses it to materialize Gatchmon, a search app monster.

Big Ear Tutu (Chinese: 大耳朵图图) is a Chinese cartoon television series. Its main character is Hu Tutu, a young boy with very large ears. The boy (also known as Big Ear Tutu) is inquisitive and energetic. Often his curiosity drives the plot of the episode. His vivid imagination is especially part of his personality. He often learns from his mother and father, with whom he has a good relationship.
The show was hosted by Jake, a jovial polar bear, and Stinky, his skunk friend. Other main characters included Armstrong the Chicken Hawk, Ollie the Tapir, Bunnie Bear, Tizzy the Bee, Yves St. La Roache, Rhonda Rat, and Dullard the Aardvark. Structured as a talk show, the hosts interviewed two guest animals in each episode. The animals talked about themselves and showed clips of their real-life counterparts.
