Bun and Bunee is a South African CG animated series created by Luma Animation which first aired on SABC3. The series premiered on December 5, 2009 and was re-run ending on May 10, 2011. Distributed by Bejuba the series has been licensed to a variety of broadcasters around the world.
In the neighborhoods around TV Street and Radio Lane, the postman Kalle works every day delivering letters and packages to homes, shops, and workshops. During his rounds, he meets the residents, becomes friends with many of them, and learns about their lives, stories, and Christmas preparations.
The show focuses on the adventures of two little girls Lola and Mila. As they spend their time exploring new things, they fall into situations that are entertaining but educational as well.
