A French animated series for children created and directed by Picha, a known Belgian cartoonist who made many cartoons for adults. The series' main characters are two dog siblings who both have name Jule. Shown in France, Spain, Italy and Poland (where the whole series was animated).
Raven: The Dragon's Eye is a BBC Scotland children's adventure game show, and the third spin-off to the main series, Raven. It comprises one series, which aired first on the CBBC Channel in 2009. In a similar manner to the previous spin-off, Raven: The Secret Temple, warriors compete as teams and attempt to collect objects by completing tasks. Unlike previous Raven series, the opening titles are always headed by a safety message from Raven: "Our Raven Warriors are always supervised and have their safety checked by experts. Please do not copy the challenges yourself."
Turma do Penadinho 3D is a series of four short films produced by Maurício de Sousa Produções, in partnership with Digital21. They are computer-animated short films featuring the universe of characters from Penadinho and his friends from the Cemetery. There were four independent shorts: "Roupa Suja" (Dirty Clothes), "Sherlock Frank", "Quermesse" (Church Fair), and "A Noite do CalafriO" (The Night of the Calafri). In addition to the 11-minute special "Um Natal Diferente" (The Christmas Different).
Ding Dong School, billed as "the nursery school of the air", was a half-hour children's TV show which began on WNBQ-TV in Chicago, Illinois a few months before its four-year run on NBC. A precursor to both Sesame Street and Mister Rogers' Neighborhood, the show was hosted live by Frances Horwich, and at one point was the most popular TV series aimed at preschoolers. The show and its host, Miss Frances, were mentioned in the comic strip Peanuts in 1955 and 1956. The show was revived in 1959 as a syndicated program, now videotaped and distributed by National Telefilm Associates. This iteration ran until 1965. Five NBC kinescoped episodes from 1954-1955 are housed at the Library of Congress, in the J. Fred and Leslie W. MacDonald Collection.
Actor Ahmed Helmy returns as he started his artistic life with the program (Play Eyal), this time presenting the program (Shout Eyal), which is a comedy program.
Gophers! was a Channel 4 children's programme about a family of American gophers who move into a new neighbourhood, called Sycamore Heights, living next door to a family of uptight but well-intentioned rabbits, The Burrows. There were many recurring jokes within this short lived show such as Arthur Burrows' vegetables planning a rebellion to escape his garden, a mad scientist ferret called Dr Wince, whose ambition was to conquer the world by obtaining a crystal buried in the Gophers' garden with the help of his reptilian servant Sly, and an alien in love with a zucchini determined to get home. Also there were Stereotypical "Mexican" cockroaches who lived in the Gophers' house or Trailer Park Mobile Home always trying to steal their food.
