Sylvanian Families is a syndicated animated series based on the Sylvanian Families merchandising franchise developed by Epoch. The series was produced in the United States by DIC Animation City with the animation being produced in Japan. It was first broadcast in 1987 on Syndication, with reruns on The CBN Family Channel in the late 1980s and PAX TV during the late 1990s.
Drawn in a simple style, it features a gee-whiz boy hero, Tom Terrific, who lives in a treehouse and can transform himself into anything he wants thanks to his magic, funnel-shaped "thinking cap," which also enhances his intelligence. He has a comic lazybones of a sidekick, Mighty Manfred the Wonder Dog, and an arch-foe named Crabby Appleton, whose motto is, "I'm rotten to the core!" Other foes include Mr. Instant, the Instant Thing King, Captain Kidney Bean, Sweet Tooth Sam, the Candy Bandit and Isotope Feaney, The Meany.

Having expressed a number of ridiculous hypotheses, the characters test them experimentally, going on an incredible journey through space or time: to different countries, to the past and the future, to digital space, into space or underground. And in the end, they always get to the truth and record a video response to an inquisitive viewer's question.
Rocky Hollow was a stop-motion animation children's television series made in Wales. The show is narrated by Peter Sallis, who became the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit This was the first children's television show produced by Bumper Films which later made Fireman Sam, Starhill Ponies and Joshua Jones for the BBC in production with S4C, Mike Young Productions and Prism Art and Design Ltd. The whole series has been released on various videos but so far has not been released on DVD until 2014.
