Cool School is a Russian children's television series that premiered in 2013 and quickly gained popularity among both younger children and teenagers. The plot centers on the lives of schoolchildren—their ups and downs, first loves, friendships, and conflicts with teachers and parents. Alana, a girl from the year 3000, is kidnapped by Silverthorn, a criminal from the year 2500, and brought back in time to the year 1992. While in the past, Alana befriends Jenny, who helps her adapt to life in a time unfamiliar to her, and to find a way back to her own time.

Not so very long ago, Jasper lived at the South Pole with his family, as is normal for penguins. But one day it happened: in his unbounded curiosity, Jasper had dared to go too far to the edge of the breaking ice cap. Suddenly there was a loud cracking noise from behind him and before he knew it, he was sitting on an ice floe, which, propelled by the current, pulled him ever further towards the horizon... until he drifted in to the harbour of a town. He looked for a cool and damp place to sleep and finally found just such a spot next to an old refrigerator, which stood in a forgotten corner at the very back of a junk shop. Since everything was so new and exciting, Jasper decided to stay for a while. However, so that his family would not be worried about him, he sent them regular reports of his experiences and observations in his "new" world. And what could be a better way of doing that, than sending a message in a bottle...

U-Pick Live is a program that aired on Nickelodeon from October 14, 2002 to May 27, 2005 on weekday afternoons from Nickelodeon Headquarters in New York City's Times Square. Starting at 5:00 p.m. EST to 7:00 p.m. EST. The show allowed viewers to pick via internet voting the Nickelodeon shows, usually cartoons, that would air. The hosts of the show also took part in sketches and gags, often including members of the studio audience and celebrity guests. Interviews with celebrity guests and musical performances were also frequent features. It originally was U-Pick Friday from 1999 to late 2000, hosted by Henry and June of KaBlam!. The concept of U-Pick originated with the Nick in the Afternoon block in 1994. After U-Pick Live's cancellation, the concept of user-chosen programming would not return until its comeback as part of The '90s Are All That in 2011.
