Prince Planet is the English-language title given to one of the earliest Japanese anime TV series, Planet Boy Papi, when it was transmitted on American television in the United States in the mid-1960s. A 52-episode monochrome anime series, it tells the story of a member of the Universal Peace Corps, originally from the planet Radion, coming to Earth on a mission to determine if this world meets standards for membership in the Galactic Union of Worlds and assist its inhabitants during his stay. While on his mission, Prince Planet adopts the identity of an Earth boy named Bobby and gains comrades who work together alongside him fighting forces of evil, both alien and terrestrial.

Ten thousand years ago, a massive battle royale known as the Battle Fight was fought by fifty-two Undead, each representing a species fighting for dominance over all others. Treasure Island in Outer Space is a 1987 science fiction Italian and German television miniseries directed by Antonio Margheriti. It is based on the novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson, setting the story in space on the year 2300. The series was produced by RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana in co-production with West Germany and France, and directed by Anthony M. Dawson. It is the biggest sci-fi production of Italian television. The miniseries of 5 episodes of 100 min was originally aired in Italy from November 19, 1987 on RAI Due channel. It was also adapted as a 120 min film. The miniseries is also known as Space Island (UK and Norway, USA on VHS) and Der Schatz im All (Germany).
An alien woman named Maya crash-lands on Earth. Her homeworld was destroyed by the Blasters, a cruel alien race who steals the natural resources from other planets. She falls in love with a scientist and gives birth to a human boy named Kentaro. When the Blasters invade the Earth, Kentaro must defeat them by fighting with Astroganger, a robot made from living metal.

Blake and Mortimer is an animated television series, based on the Blake and Mortimer comic book by Edgar Pierre Jacobs. The series was directed by Stéphane Bernasconi, and produced by Ellipse, and shown in 1997. The first nine stories were used in this series, as well as four brand new stories, devised by the creators: The Viking's Bequest, The Secret of Easter Island, The Alchemist's Will, and The Druid. New writers, mostly connected to the production company as writers, dialogists or translators, were asked to come up with original plotlines which used the characters of Jacobs' stories, respected the magical/scientific Universe, but rang interesting changes.

Kyoudai Ken Byclosser was a serial Tokusatsu created by Shotaro Ishinomori (Ishinomori Productions) and Toei Company, in co-production with Nippon Television. The series consisted of 34 episodes, and aired in Japan starting January 10th, 1985 until August 29th of the same year.
