A week before storming the beaches of Normandy, two US Soldiers infiltrate an abandoned complex to rescue a prisoner of war from the clutches of the Nazi regime.

On the eve of the big battle there was an order not to enter the battles, to save forces. However, the continuing daring sorties of the fascist tank, which set fire to Menshov's car, lead him to the decision to destroy the German ace. In a duel with Menshov's combat crew the enemy machine is destroyed. This victory was like a prologue to the famous defeat of Hitler's hordes in the tank battle of Prokhorovka.
