During the Korean War, Chinese volunteers and the Korean People's Army supported each other and fought together. They shed blood in the name of friendship between the two peoples and praised the nobility, the spirit of internationalism.
Two brothers, Jack and Tom, are in love with the same woman, Molly. In December 1937, during the Second Japanese-Sino War, a Chinese doctor, his Japanese pregnant wife, their teenage daughter and their young son travel from Shanghai to Nanjing seeking shelter in the Capital during the Japanese invasion. The family faces the Rape of Nanking by the Imperial Japanese Army, with rapes, mass murder of prisoners of war and civilians including women, children and elders, and disrespect of international conventions.
Summer of 1943, the current of the front. In one of the fierce battles, a T-34 tank is hit. The tank commander Sasha Menshov is seriously wounded. After treatment in the hospital - again the front. On the eve of the big battle there was an order not to enter the battles, to save forces. However, the continuing daring sorties of the fascist tank, which set fire to Menshov's car, lead him to the decision to destroy the German ace. In a duel with Menshov's combat crew the enemy machine is destroyed. This victory was like a prologue to the famous defeat of Hitler's hordes in the tank battle of Prokhorovka.

A feature-length pilot film for a proposed NBC series, War Stories is set in a battle-torn Middle Eastern country that is obviously Uzbekistan (but not identified as such).
